The Hsu Group at Duke University has partnered with the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and their Step Up to STEM program to host a series of materials science workshops geared towards high school students. We thank our partner NCSSM for providing the guidance and network necessary for this event to be made possible.

Through the Step Up to STEM program, students are eligible to register for the LITE Workshop and explore the fascinating world of optics and materials science at Duke University. The day consists of lab tours and optics workshops including a build-your-own thermal VR headset.
